We're excited to welcome two rising stars to ACS!

Ashley Maffey joins our Cincinnati office as our newest co-op, bringing hands-on experience in architecture, engineering, and VDC, along with a strong academic background from the University of Cincinnati.

We're also thrilled to celebrate Rocky Weber, who is transitioning from co-op to full-time team member after 18 months of impressive contributions.

At ACS, our co-op program is all about investing in future talent and providing real-world experience. Join us in cheering on Ashley and Rocky as they grow with our team!

Please welcome Russ Raposa to ACS as our new Director of Architecture in Milwaukee. Russ brings over 20 years of experience across retail, restaurant, medical, office, and industrial projects. As a licensed architect and AIA member, he adds valuable expertise to our team and strengthens our ability to imagine and deliver practical, buildable solutions.

Fun Fact: Russ was a firefighter in the Air Force. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and golfing.

ACS is proud to announce the opening of Steak ’n Shake’s new ground-up restaurant in Waukee, Iowa.

This new prototype design draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic 1950s heritage with updated interior and exterior design cues that align perfectly with Steak ’n Shake’s refreshed identity.

ACS also provided comprehensive foodservice design - rethinking kitchen layouts, workflows, and service areas to improve efficiency and ensure a consistent dining experience.

🌯 Now Open! We’re proud to announce the opening of a new Chipotle Mexican Grill in Sharonville, OH.

ACS provided architectural design services, guiding the project from conceptual design and permitting through construction documentation and final delivery.

This project was a fantastic collaboration with Anchor Properties (Developer), Derek Inc. (GC), and the Chipotle team to deliver an efficient, community-focused restaurant on schedule. The new location features Chipotle’s latest Chipotlane drive-thru prototype and reflects our ongoing commitment to crafting high-performing retail environments.

✈️ Hangar 49 Tap + Tavern is now serving guests inside Vancouver International Airport! Formerly Stanley Park Taphouse, the refreshed restaurant and bar—located near Gate B13 in the domestic terminal—now features 40 additional seats for a total of 210.

During renovations, ACS helped facilitate a temporary SPT pop-up with a full-service kitchen and seating for 70 to keep travelers dining without interruption.

A big thank you to and Vancouver Airport Authority for the great collaboration in bringing this project to life!

We’re excited to share the opening of the new Cambria Hotel Templeton - Paso Robles, a project we were proud to support in the heart of California wine country 🍷✨

This 132-room boutique hotel brings modern design together with the charm of California’s Central Coast—complete with resort-style spaces, a pool, cabanas, and fire pits perfect for gathering.

Huge kudos to our team, local stakeholders, and Choice Hotels for making it happen 🙌

ACS is proud to be the Architect of Record for the new LongHorn Steakhouse in Sheboygan, WI. Our Milwaukee team recently visited the site—part of the North Town development located off I-43—to get an up-close look at the construction progress. A huge thanks to for the tour!
