As a licensed, woman-led General Contractor design–build firm we deliver full-service residential and boutique commercial transformations with disciplined scope, structured timelines, and refined execution. We do lighting for the décor world. These amazing lights have a very unique quality and style to them. Incorporating the functionality of lighting with an aesthetic that is both eclectic and in

dustrial, using reclaimed heat-treated wood and vintage inspired wire and sockets. Using copper and teal, white and pink, or black and grey color combinations, just to name a few, to make statement pieces for the home, office and studio spaces. My love of stones and rocks I’ve used in my designs of jewelry since the beginning has crossed over into the designs of these lights as well. A pendant overhead dripping with Aquamarine or Rose Quartz will perfect any reading nook or quaint office space. A desk lamp that is statement solo is even more impressive with a large raw chunk of Moroccan Geode a-fixed to it.

25 years in the industry. One space in her own neighborhood. And a timeline that would make most contractors say no.

Lindsay said yes anyway. So did I.

400 square feet. Five styling stations, a processing area, a shampoo zone, a back office, and product storage. All of it custom, all of it functional, all of it still going strong two years later in the heart of Corona del Mar.

The space doesn't lie. Neither does a client who's still this happy about it.

One cabinet was blocking the entire view. We got rid of it.

But here's the part that actually took thought: once the cabinet came out, the kitchen still needed structure, a home for the lighting, a ceiling element that defined the space without closing it back in. So we sketched a solution, held up wood on site to show the lighting crew what we were going for, and built something custom that didn't exist before we drew it.

That's what creative remodeling actually looks like. It's not just demo and replace. It's problem-solving in real time, on site, with a pencil in your hand.
The view was always there. It just had a cabinet in front of it.

Most people pick a fountain because it looks good in the photo.

The ones that actually transform a space were chosen because someone asked the right questions first: where does it live, what's it competing with, and what does this room need to feel like the moment you walk in?

That's the same way I approach every decision in a build. Feeling first. Everything else follows.

The best vendors I work with didn't come from a directory or a Google search.

Every decision in this house was made for how people actually use it, not how it looks in a listing photo.

Hidden barn doors that close off the laundry when guests arrive. An open shower built for sandy feet. A primary suite with barn doors that save space instead of eating it. A shuffleboard table where a built-in used to be, because kids need somewhere to go.

That's beach house design done right. It's functional, it's specific, and every single detail came from asking the right questions before touching a wall.
The open shower in the primary isn't just aesthetic either; for an Airbnb, it's practical. Guests don't linger. Turnover is clean. The space works for the business model, not just the lifestyle.
