Exciting things are happening in Holden this summer at Sarah's House of Maine! We were excited to officially kick off construction alongside WBRC and the Sarah’s House team at last week’s ceremonial groundbreaking for The Elevated Expansion Project. This important next step will help support patients and caregivers traveling to the Bangor-Brewer area for lifesaving medical care. Since opening its doors, the organization has welcomed more than 780 guests at no cost to them or their caregivers.

This expansion will add four additional guest rooms, a new elevator, and critical accessibility upgrades to better serve guests with mobility challenges and growing community needs. We’re proud to partner on such a meaningful project and look forward to helping expand their mission and create an even greater impact for families across Maine.

Sarah’s House provides a home away from home for rural cancer patients and their families when receiving care in the Bangor area.

It was an honor for our team to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of HOMETOWN Health Center in Palmyra, a project we were proud to help bring to life through the construction of this incredible new facility right here in our community. Since opening its doors in March, the state-of-the-art facility has already been making a meaningful impact by serving patients throughout the region.

Surrounded by community partners, sponsors, and local residents, the evening was filled with excitement for the future while also reflecting on the journey and history that made this vision possible. Hometown Health Centers CEO, Robin Winslow, has dreamed of bringing this resource to the community for decades, and it was inspiring to see that vision become a reality. Her passion, persistence, and dedication to the community can be seen in every detail of this new building.

Bowman Constructors led the construction alongside Harriman Architects, Engineers + Planners. The impressive new 50,000-square-foot facility includes medical and dental offices, childcare services, and a wellness center featuring an elevated indoor track, basketball courts, and a fully equipped test kitchen.

Great before-and-after shots from this renovation at Sabattus Regional Credit Union! As the general contractor on this project, it was great to help bring the vision to life. It’s always rewarding to see how thoughtful design and solid craftsmanship come together to transform a space into something that truly serves its community.

We’re overjoyed to announce our partnership with Sarah's House of Maine and WBRC on an exciting expansion project. Sarah’s House provides free lodging for families across the state while they undergo cancer treatment, and the impact their team has on so many lives is truly inspiring. We’re incredibly proud to support their mission.

Construction is set to break ground this spring and will expand accessibility and comfort for families facing cancer through four additional guest rooms, an elevator, and other much-needed amenities.
