IKC member Tableful was behind the beautiful lunch spread at the latest HERizon Series, bringing people together around a table filled with seriously good food.

And that gorgeous focaccia? A special shoutout to fellow IKC member Baker’s Bookmark! We love seeing our members collaborate, support one another, and show up together in the community.

This is what the IKC community is all about: local food businesses growing, creating, and making things happen together. ✨

Behind every meal, every product, and every food business at IKC, a lot happens behind the scenes.

Prep. Chop. Roast. Repeat.

Our kitchens are where ideas become recipes, recipes become products, and local food businesses keep growing, one tray (and one very full sheet pan of broccoli) at a time.

Meet one of IKC’s newest members: Flour Power!

Flour Power is a teen-run nonprofit proving that you’re never too young to make a real impact in your community.

Through their work, Flour Power helps support people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity by partnering with organizations already deeply connected to our community, including Our Daily Bread, St. Vincent de Paul, and Lighthouse Youth & Family Services.

We’re especially excited to welcome this young, mission-driven team into the Incubator Kitchen Collective community. Food has the power to nourish, connect, and care for our neighbors, and Flour Power is putting that belief into action.

Welcome to IKC, Flour Power! We can’t wait to see what you do next.

There’s just something about a board that’s almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

IKC member Taste of Boujie knows how to turn a spread into a whole experience, with boards made for gathering, celebrating, sharing, and showing off just a little bit!

*EDITED* The share from Instagram feature did not include all three slides!!

This month, we’re giving a big IKC shoutout to the incredible food entrepreneurs who make up our Incubator Kitchen Collective community. From bakers and caterers to spice makers, coffee roasters, specialty foods and everything delicious in between, these businesses are putting in the work, building their brands and bringing some seriously good food to our region.

Every name on this list represents an entrepreneur with an idea, a whole lot of hustle and a business worth supporting.

See one of your favorites? Give them some love in the comments. Spot a name you haven’t tried yet? Consider this your sign to go find your next local obsession!

We’re proud to have each and every one of you in the IKC family.

Our local food businesses were hit hard by this week’s storms and power outages. For many, losing power didn’t just mean losing electricity, it meant losing inventory, ingredients, prep time, and revenue.

Now is the time to show up for the small businesses that feed our community. Were you or a local food business you love impacted by the storms? Drop the business name in the comments so our community can find them, follow them, order from them, and support them.

Shop local. Eat local. Support local.

When the power goes out, the impact on a small food business goes far beyond the lights. Across our region, recent storms and widespread power outages have hit small businesses hard, and for food entrepreneurs, hours without electricity can mean refrigerators and freezers full of product lost, ingredients that have to be replaced, production days canceled, orders delayed, and hours of paid labor that can’t be recovered.

For the small businesses that make up the Incubator Kitchen Collective, those losses add up quickly. A refrigerator full of food isn’t just food. It’s inventory that was purchased with limited cash flow. It’s tomorrow’s orders. It’s a weekend market. It’s a catering job. It’s hours of prep. It’s income a business owner and their family were counting on. And for a growing food business operating on already-thin margins, one unexpected loss can have a lasting impact.

We’re working to make sure our kitchen members have information and resources to help them document their losses, understand their insurance coverage, and determine what options may be available for recovery.

In the meantime, we’re asking our community to remember the small food businesses behind the products you love. If a business has to cancel an order, change its availability, or take a few days to get back on its feet, give them some grace. And when they’re ready to sell again, show up.

Small businesses are resilient, but resilience shouldn’t mean having to weather every storm alone.

We’re proud to be a collective that shows up for one another, especially when things get hard.

Nothing says Hot Summer Tomato Nights quite like a tomato-inspired cocktail. 🍅🍹

We loved seeing IKC kitchen member Cincy Sips behind the bar at The Gratitude Collective’s Hot Summer Tomato Nights, serving up delicious cocktails and mocktails and bringing even more flavor to the evening.

One of our favorite things is watching our kitchen members take their talents out into the community, and Cincy Sips absolutely showed up for this one.

Cheers to great drinks, creative entrepreneurs, and an incredible night celebrating local. ❤️

A table full of tomatoes, talent, and seriously good food.

We loved seeing IKC member Jenna of Tableful bring the flavor to The Gratitude Collective’s Hot Summer Tomato Nights! From celebrating local ingredients to creating food that brings people together, Jenna’s work is such a perfect example of the creativity and talent within our kitchen community.

We’re always proud to see our members out in the community doing what they do best, and even prouder when it tastes this good.

Shoutout to Jenna and Tableful for helping make Hot Summer Tomato Nights so delicious!
