This customer’s 23-year-old system had a lot of biological growth inside, so we’re replacing it with a high-efficiency Napoleon heat pump that provides heating in outdoor temperatures as low as -22°F! ❄️🔥

We’re also replacing some of the ductwork, adding a UV light, and getting her set up for a duct cleaning with our partners at ZACH-VAC Air Duct Cleaning.

It’s the little details that make a big difference. 🦈

Today’s project: a five-zone mini-split installation in Middletown, PA!

One issue we find when correcting other mini-split installations is mismatched refrigerant lines and communication wires—especially when several indoor units connect to one outdoor unit.

Our simple solution? Color-code every refrigerant line set and its matching communication cable. 🔴🟡🔵🟢

It’s a small step that takes the guesswork out of matching each indoor unit to the correct refrigerant ports and wiring connections. A little extra care during installation can prevent a big headache later!

We’ve been a little quiet on here, but VERY busy behind the scenes! ❤️🦈

The past two weeks have been packed with oil conversions, heat pumps, furnaces, mini splits, boilers, water heaters, and service calls!

We also partnered with K.L. Tyndale Inc. last week to install gas lines for whole-home generators! ⚡️ Whether you need a gas line or help getting started with a generator, we can help.

🚨 This is why a second opinion matters.

The paper towel warning in the photo was left by the first HVAC company, not us. They deemed this customer’s furnace unsafe to operate—and in its current condition, they were right.

However, the customer was told their only options were to replace the heat exchanger or replace the entire furnace.

The problem? Neither option addressed the actual cause.

We came out for a second opinion and found a bee’s nest blocking the furnace exhaust. That blockage had been missed. Had the customer spent thousands replacing equipment without identifying and clearing it, the underlying problem would still have been there.

We identified the actual problem, corrected it, and saved this homeowner approximately $9,000.

Before spending thousands on a major HVAC replacement, sometimes a second opinion can make all the difference.
