Robotics. Autonomous systems. Engineering🇺🇸🇺🇦
This is the foundation on which a new model of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States is being built.
And in this model, Ukraine is a full participant. For more than three years, we have been building a technological bridge through our local presence in the U.S., the integration of Ukrainian companies into global markets, and the development of partnerships on both sides of the Atlantic.
📍 These topics were central at the Future Force Capabilities 2026 conference in Las Vegas — one of the leading U.S. platforms exploring the future of robotics, autonomous systems, and defense-industrial technologies.
🗣️ At the conference, Futurology/DroneUA co-founder Valerii Iakovenko took part in the panel discussion “Investing in New Technology and the Defense Industrial Base” alongside with Mykola Kolomiiets, board member of United Tech Assets; Illia Ponomariov, U2D2 representative; and Myroslav Popovych, senior international relations manager at UCDI. The discussion focused on investment in high-tech industries, manufacturing localization, the development of engineering competencies, and the role of international cooperation in advancing robotic and autonomous systems.
A key focus was the formation of new technology value chains, where manufacturing, engineering, and capital are combined.
💬 “Today, Ukraine is not only a source of technology, but a fully formed ecosystem of robotics and autonomous systems that is becoming a full-fledged partner in the global technology economy. Ukrainian companies are ready to scale internationally, enter new markets, build partnerships, launch engineering centers, and localize component manufacturing. That is why cooperation between Ukraine and the United States is no longer a matter of potential, but a natural stage of market development,” said Valerii Iakovenko.
The combination of engineering expertise, entrepreneurial culture, and rapid technology deployment gives Ukrainian companies a competitive advantage and opens new formats of cooperation with U.S. manufacturers and global investors.
📍 Importantly, a significant part of these processes is already being implemented in practice by us: we are building the infrastructure for integrating Ukrainian technologies into the U.S. market — from partnership networks and engineering projects to the development of local presence.
This systematic work has already delivered results — platforms connecting Ukrainian technology companies with the U.S. market have been created. Ukrainian pavilions at CES and Commercial UAV Expo, side events at SelectUSA and XPONENTIAL — all of these are part of an ecosystem shaping a new level of international cooperation.
