(Marine Solutions) is an engineering and commercial diving firm specializing in marine engineering, bridge engineering, marine construction, and commercial diving. Marine Solutions is woman-owned small business headquartered in central Kentucky with offices in western Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio. Our valued clients include federal, state, and municipal agencies around the world. At Marine Solutions, our mission is to be the unsurpassed leader in providing solutions to our clients’ marine infrastructure needs. We are excited to announce the opening of our newest office in Denver! This expansion strengthens our presence in the western U.S. and allows us to better serve clients throughout the region.

Sean Chapman, PE, Matt Daniels, PE, and Brad Koch, PE, attended ASCE CORPI Ports and Harbors Committee Meetings at the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands last week! The team met with other waterfront engineering leaders to find solutions for a variety of ports and harbors problems from inspection to rehabilitation to design of new structures. The committee got the opportunity to tour and learn about the largest port in Europe, and one of the most innovative ports in the world - the Port of Rotterdam!

Marine Solutions' Joseph Guthrie took the stage at the 2026 NEBPP/MWBPP Joint Meeting in Chicago to share lessons learned from the Lewis & Clark Bridge Rope Access Crack Repair Project.

His presentation highlighted the use of innovative rope access techniques for epoxy crack injection on the cable-stayed bridge towers, offering insight into the challenges and solutions involved in this unique bridge repair project.

Last month, our team completed a three‑week-long above water and underwater structural inspection of waterfront facilities at a port in Alaska. The team operated in challenging fall conditions, including 30‑foot tidal fluctuations, strong currents, and zero‑visibility (“black water”) diving in America's last frontier. Despite these constraints, the inspection was successfully executed, providing essential data on structural integrity, deterioration mechanisms, and required maintenance actions.
