NEW WAY TO AVOID OSMOSIS FROM DECK CARPET
Australian marine carpet manufacturer, Marine Tuft, has announced HydraBak a new and improved solution to avoiding osmosis caused by water that is often trapped under many other marine carpet brands on boat decks. Unique to Marine Tuft Carpets, HydraBak has been formulated over the past 10 years to become what the manufacturer claims is now the most advanced system for water flow-off through a marine carpet.
Using a specially developed latex rubber formula and improved carpet backing substrate, HydraBak allows water to flow through and away using the gravity of the deck’s camber. Sun and wind further assist in the drying process of this 100% UV resistant, color fast range of specialist marine carpet.
Even better, HydraBak is mould and mildew resistant, so Marine Tuft Carpet does not need to be lifted when the boat is put in storage, such as over the winter months. And it continues to remain soft and comfortable underfoot in both cold and warm climates.
