This job is a perfect example of what we do
From The Ground Up Construction
We’ve done all the earthwork, concrete work, jacked the barn up and did the full barn remodel.

I haven’t posted progress pics since last winter. Barn is attached to the main house and was 17” out of level when we started …
Pouring concrete for the garage walls today, floors are scheduled for beginning of next week.
Radiant heat floors, frostwalls and sills, some new posts, a few boarding boards, coupla power beams, new windows, cedar impressions siding, azek trim and the old parsonage barn looks good as new and will last another 250 years!
New garage coming soon

Customers asked to add a step off the hot tub deck I had built a few years ago. At the time they were undecided about what they wanted for steps.
I wanted to play around with an idea I had seen about getting rid of the butt ends on decking boards without picture framing and they liked the idea.
We decided going with 3 boards, and a wider step, would really make the difference on how it looked.
Good call!
I love the way it came out and look forward to doing this more often!

Vented hip-roof gazebo attached to a deck we built a few years ago. Will be a great spot to find some shade by the pool this summer!

I love seeing buildings as skeletons. Every frame is unique. We made some sawdust cutting these 4x8’s!

Sometimes it’s nice to get a project at home checked off the list! Well… 3/4 of a check mark 😜
Just have to finish the grout on the bluestone and get a different pipe decreaser.
This is what I had in mind 20 years ago when I built this house… it totally changes the whole atmosphere in the living room!

Give me a shout and make your dreams/ideas become a reality!

Haven’t posted in a while … finally out of the plow truck and back to shooting nails.
Back on a previous job, finishing off an old cow barn.
This was a cinder block wall between the barn and the old milking room, used the old window frame to make cubbies for storage and built custom individual lockers.

We’ve been very busy on this project. Hired to remove the old and build a new garage. The customer really wanted to have it attached to the barn, built in 1789. So we got to work to make it happen!
We set up cribwork to jack the barn back to level, dug out the rotten sills and rock walls underneath the barn, down to ledge, that was 3-4 feet deep. Pinned the rebar to ledge and poured frost walls. Both the barn and garage will have radiant in-floor heat! From The Ground Up has done all phases of the work; earthwork, jacking, concrete and drainage.
Next step is raising the north wall the last few inches and putting the new 8x8 sills in so we can form the shared concrete wall to the new garage.
Can’t wait to get it closed in and turn the heat on!
