If you know Kendra, you know she's about as genuine as they come. What you see is what you get, and that's one of the things people love most about her. She's honest, hardworking, incredibly smart, and always willing to help someone out when they need it.

Kendra has a way of catching the little details that the rest of us might miss, asking the questions that need to be asked, and thinking things through before jumping in. She's organized, thoughtful, and always looking out for the team.
..But more than anything, Kendra has a huge heart. She's always thinking about other people—whether that's checking in on a coworker, helping organize celebrations to make someone feel special, or simply stepping up when someone needs a hand. Memorial Day always feels a little different. 🇺🇸

Today’s a reminder that the freedoms, families, and everyday moments we get to enjoy came at a cost for so many others. We’re thankful for the men and women who gave everything for this country and for the families who carry that sacrifice with them every day.

Yesterday was one of those days that just fills your heart up a little. ❤️🇺🇸

A big group from Weiland spent the afternoon out at the Norfolk Veterans Home again this year — something that’s become a tradition we all really care about and look forward to each year.

We had one crew outside helping clean up the grounds and get everything looking nice for visitors this Memorial Day weekend, while another crew spent time inside playing BINGO, visiting, laughing, and simply spending quality time with the residents. 🫶

There’s just something humbling about being around people who sacrificed so much for all of us. And honestly, it never feels like enough compared to what they’ve done. Nothing exemplifies one of our core values, “Service Before Self,” quite like this...Just good people showing up to do a little good for people who deserve it more than anyone.

What a beautiful day! Really proud of our team for showing up the way they always do. 👏

It’s pretty cool getting to watch young people figure out who they are and where they’re headed in life… and we’ve been lucky enough to have 5 REALLY great ones this year.👏🎓

From HR, accounting, engineering, and IT — each one of these grads and interns brought something different to the table, but all of them showed up ready to learn, work hard, contribute to the culture and be part of the team.

Piper (far left) spent the last semester of high school interning with us and is headed to college this fall. Nolan recently graduated from Northeast Community College and will intern with us this summer. He is continuing his education this fall at Wayne State College. Jackson has spent the last couple of years interning with us, recently graduated college, and decided to continue on full-time with Weiland. Jonah is interning with us this summer before heading to college this fall, and Jagur has been with us the last two years while continuing his education and recently earned yet another degree.👏

It’s easy to talk about “the next generation,” but these kids genuinely give you hope for it. They have bright futures ahead of them and we’re incredibly lucky they chose to spend part of their journey with us.

Sometimes the coolest things around here happen completely unexpectedly. 👏

A while back, Marty Clausen and the team at Clausen Air, Inc., generously gifted Weiland a FREE high-efficiency furnace as a thank you for the business and partnership we’ve shared over the years. Seriously… how awesome is that?

Instead of keeping it for the company, we thought, “Why not turn this into something fun for the people who show up every day and make this place what it is?”

So, we opened it up to the entire company and drew one lucky winner this morning… And Barry Freudenburg officially brought home the HEAT! 🔥😂

Congratulations, Barry! Couldn’t happen to a better guy. We hope that the furnace keeps your house warm and cozy for a long, long time. And a huge thank-you again to Marty and Classen Air for their generosity. It’s partnerships and people like this that remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a supportive community.

Sometimes this place is all business…and sometimes we’re drawing names for a free furnace like it’s Christmas morning.

Ryan has been a huge part of keeping things moving in our metal bending area — consistently showing up, putting in the work, and getting the job done right.

He may be one of the quieter guys around the shop, but his impact definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Ryan's work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail have made a big difference over the years, and the team knows they can count on him day in and day out. 👊
