Demolition is wrapping up at the UPenn Towne Lab 116 project, and the transformation is officially underway. Opening up an existing space always gives a clear view of what’s possible as we move into layout.

Over the next few weeks, structural steel will be installed in preparation for the new mezzanine slab infill. Excited to see the next phase come together.

We’re thrilled to share the completed T House space powered by Quaker Fuel, delivered earlier this year. Designed as both a fueling station and a community hub for student-athletes, this refreshed interior offers a bright, welcoming environment of this space located on the north side of Franklin Field.

The fit-out captures the abundant natural light from the existing storefront windows, highlighting the new custom finishes and thoughtful details integrated throughout the space.

It was a pleasure to collaborate with the project team and help bring this vision to life.

Final concrete pours are underway at The Philadelphian on the Parkway, and the exposed aggregate is looking incredible! This textured finish brings a striking, polished look to the sidewalks.

Throwback Thursday!
Let’s take a look back at the stunning classroom renovations at UPenn’s Carey Law School—located in the iconic Silverman Building, originally designed in 1900 by Cope & Stewardson.

With a brilliant design vision by VMA, this project blended historic charm with modern innovation. The result? A learning environment that elevates education with integrated technology, enhanced acoustics, and preserved architectural character.

Three classrooms were completely reimagined to support diverse teaching styles and capacities. Acoustic plaster resolved long-standing sound issues, while thoughtfully designed lighting now highlights the building’s historic detailing.

We're proud to have been part of bringing this space into the 21st century while honoring its past.

Progress Update | UP Stouffer Levels 1 & 2 Office Renovations

Demolition is wrapping up, and we’re gearing up for the exciting transformation ahead! This interior renovation project will deliver modern office spaces and collaborative meeting rooms—complete with upgraded HVAC systems, custom millwork, decorative lighting, enhanced ceilings, and fresh finishes throughout.

Great part of an amazing project!

This Halloween, we’re revisiting one of Laurel Hill Cemetery’s most haunting works of art — the Old Mortality Sculptural Group. Since 1838, Sir Walter Scott, “Old Mortality,” and his faithful pony have silently greeted visitors just beyond the Gatehouse, their stone figures standing watch over the resting place of so many stories past.

Our team breathed new life into this Gothic Revival landmark by repairing the historic stucco and crenellated turrets, restoring the urn and metal roof, and waterproofing the foundation. Subtle lighting now casts new shadows on these timeless figures — ensuring their mysterious presence endures for generations to come.
