Why do Solar consultants knock on doors? You skeptical of this, right? It somehow makes Solar consultants look scammy…. Why would anyone choose to make s living doing this? And why don’t they choose some other way?

Well….. you may feel like it’s invading your space. You may be busy, and don’t have time to chat. But….. not everyone can go solar. It depends on your home, how much shade, how the sun hits, and other similar things. And the best way to determine this is to see your home. How many trees, the pitch of the roof etc. solar consultants really are trying to help you out. Trying to help you lower your energy costs and better the environment. And when you see them looking up or looking around it’s basically to try to determine if it makes sense. Knocking on peoples doors is hard. It is not because they can’t get a better job, or whatever else you may be thinking, it’s because they are passionate about what they do and to them, it’s worth it for the end result.

In my experience, one of the questions homeowners are worried about is selling their home in the future with solar panels. The thing is, with solar, your rate is locked in,and if it has been a few years since installing the panels, chances are, the energy rate for those without solar has gone up and the people purchcasing your home would be happy to be locked in at a lower rate, or if the panels are paid for, then your energy is free. Seems like a no brainer. I'm not saying there haven't been horror stories in the past of things that didn't go well. but as time goes on, and things evolve, practices get smoother, and if you research, and use a reputable solar company, those things won't happen. Chances are, the negative things you have heard, are from long ago, or from a non reputable comany.

There are so many questions about going solar. People may drive by older Solar panels, and get the impression that they look horrible, but panels have evolved since they made their original appearance, and they are also more efficient. Some people have heard horror stories about their "brother, or other relative"who went solar and didn't have such a great experience. Just have panels have evolved, so have ways to purchase, and companies who sell solar. If you do your research, and hire a reputable company, you will know exactly how the process works, and what your savings will be before moving forward.

Hi, Welcome to my new page. Why am I starting this page? Electric costs are higher than ever, as is most everything else. I believe in Solar energy, not only is it a great way to reduce electric costs, but it also helps the environment. One reason that the cost of energy is rising is because many of the power plants have shut down. This actually in my opinion is a good thing, because the coal from power plants causes all kinds of health issues from heart to lung, and more.....enphasema, cancer, heart disease, etc. This shutting down power plants causes electric companies to have to go farther out to get the power they deliver to you. That makes the electric more expensive......travel costs, and also, energy is lost along the way. So, we make an exchange, what is more important, our health, or prices. I think, and I am sure most would agree.....they are both very important, infact some would say you can't have one without the other. Anyway, there are many theories, and thoughts about solar, some good, many not. I would like to help clear up some of the misinformation here, in order to help people feel more at ease with solar, and help lower those electric bills if possible.
