Join us to celebrate Earth Day 2026 in Takoma Park!

On Sunday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the City of Takoma Park Sustainable Takoma Park and the Takoma Park–Silver Spring Co-op will host a community-wide Earth Month celebration including activities such as face painting, nature-themed arts and crafts, a clothes swap, tree care demonstrations, bike repairs and rides, music, food, and interactive learning opportunities.

It was a pleasure attending the Comité Latino de Baltimore meeting yesterday. We really enjoyed sharing information about the Solar4US solar array located on the rooftop of the Henderson-Hopkins School in Baltimore, which offers a 25% discount to income-qualified residents.
