DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!
If you see a company offering A/C checks for some ridiculously low number like $67, don't believe it!
The important word here is "check".
A "check" is not a tune-up or a repair, it's a "check". They might put their gauges on but anything beyond that you're gonna pay for.
They probabally tell every customer that they need freon.
That "check" can't possibly include acid washing a dirty condenser.

Think about it!
How can anyone make any money on a $67 A/C check?
It's a scam to get into your home and charge you for all kinds of things you don't need.
I bet no one ends up with a $67 bill after their A/C has been "checked".
There are no free lunches or A/C tune-ups for $67.

When you've been in busines for 21 yrs you start replacing equipment that you put in years ago.
Just replaced a Rinnai "On Demand" water heater that we put in 14 yrs ago. At the time Rinnai was the gold standard.
We replaced this Rinnai with an IBC "On Demand" water heater.
Candian made IBC "On Demand" hot water heaters and boilers have been our prefered brand or about 10yrs now.

Don't believe Maura Healy that Massachusetts is trying to lower energy costs. The Legislature passed a new bill doubling down on "green" energy and they denied two propossed natural gas pipelines coming from Pennsylvania that would have significantly lowered energy costs to our state.
I guess we need more windmills.
Maybe they'll put one where you live?🤣

Just completed a whole home heat pump installation in Billerica. We removed failed gas furnace and obsolete A/C system. We installed new Rheem 18 SEER side discharge heat pump condenser and a Rheem Air Handler with a 2 stage variable speed fan.
Customer qualifies for Federal Tax Credit.

I don't know why more people aren't upset?
Report came out today that Eversource's profits doubled in 2025.
That explains why my gas bill has doubled to over $800/ month even though I'm running high efficiency equipment.
Maybe it's time for some Federal oversight?
The State certainly isn't doing anything to lower your energy costs!
