The Gray Crew, Brown Crew, Safety, Quality Control, Traffic Control, and Transportation teams out on US 17, Savannah Highway, working together to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Last week, crews began southbound paving on the inside and outside lanes during nighttime operations. Over the next few weeks, in addition to nighttime paving, crews will pave turn lanes and crossovers.

We hope everyone is enjoying the improved rideability as we work toward an August project completion!

• Peyton Hayes - Clemson University, Rising Junior, Construction Science & Management, Mt. Pleasant, SC
• Caden Griffith - Clemson University, Rising Sophomore, Civil Engineering, Walterboro, SC
• Gavin Garcia - University of South Carolina, Rising Junior, Civil Engineering, Goose Creek, SC
• Christian Long - The Citadel, Rising Junior, Business Administration & Finance, Summerville, SC

They've already been here a few weeks, with most rotating through various divisions across the company. Christian will focus his time within our Estimating and Project Management Groups.

We love internship season and are looking forward to the rest of the summer!

We’re proud to announce that Carlos Serrano has been promoted from Plant Superintendent to Plant General Superintendent. In this new role, Carlos will oversee operations across all three plant facilities.

Thirty incredible, memorable, and impactful years with Controller Bobby Fancher on the Banks team.
