During Cooperative Month, there may be no better example of Cooperation Among Cooperatives than mutual aid.

Two years ago, LCEC experienced the power of mutual aid following Hurricane Milton. Now, LCEC employees returned that support to Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative, Inc. to assist with power restoration following impacts from Hurricane Isaias.

Through the Florida Electric Cooperatives Association (FECA), utilities across the state can come together when help is needed, supporting one another and the members and communities they serve.
