Take a walk through all there is to know about solar consultations. This is a very high level of solar and may leave you with more questions than you already have, but if it does, feel free to reach out and I will answer those questions. There's certainly nothing to be intimidated about!

It's very rare that someone reaches out to me to inquire about solar and they have the PERFECT home. What makes a perfect home? South facing roof (or South West), no shade, a roof that's in good shape, a home that fits enough panels to cover 100% of their electric bill.

One home in this picture did... but the problem is solar isn't unlimited. There has to be enough room on the utility companies infastructure to handle the extra power. If the transformer is at capacity, the utility company doesn't allow any new consumer to get solar. Do you think my client is getting solar? Nope.... they will have to endure UI's 12% rate increase next month. I always thought overloaded transformers was a myth, something the solar guys said just for FOMO... but I can honestly tell you now that it's true.

If you're interested in solar, reach out before all of your neighbors do... this is an extreme example, but if 70% of your neighbors sign up for solar, you most likely can't.

If Solar is only saving you 20% on your current electric bill, is it worth it?

Yes, Eversouce just applied for a 19% increase for May 1…. That 20% savings just became 39% for no additional cost!

Most condo owners (or owners of homes that have an HOA) assume they can not have solar. Did you know CT (along with the following states) make it so condo associations MUST allow solar?
