MegaKC Announces Leadership Transition Honoring Brian Gordon’s Legacy
After decades of leadership and lasting impact, Brian Gordon will retire from his role as CEO effective June 12, 2026. The MegaKC Board of Directors has appointed Tyler Wesselman as the company’s next Chief Executive Officer as part of a long-planned leadership transition developed by MegaKC’s Board and Leadership Team.
“This succession couldn’t come at a better time for MegaKC,” said Gordon. “Over the last several years, Tyler and our leadership team have helped position the company for tremendous long-term success. I have never been more confident in the future of MegaKC or more proud of the next generation of leadership leading our company forward.”
Under Gordon’s leadership, MegaKC experienced significant growth in employee ownership, revenue, profitability, leadership development, and market expansion while continuing to strengthen its employee-owned culture and community-centered values.
Wesselman has played a key role in MegaKC’s strategic growth and operational leadership and has worked closely alongside Gordon and the executive team throughout the planned transition process.
