National Safety Month reminds us that safety is not just a priority for one project, one week, or one month. It is part of every task, plan, and conversation year-round.

This month, our crews are looking for gaps, identifying hazards, and strengthening the proactive habits that protect our people.

Congratulations to Nashville for being selected to host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030!

Garney has been working on site at the new Nissan Stadium installing multiple utilities to support the stadium and the surrounding East Bank development. Work includes more than 25,000 LF of 6-inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit, 1,588 LF of 4-inch and 6-inch duct bank, nearly a mile of force main and gravity sewer piping, and 1,000 LF of storm drain.

Crews are also building a 15-MGD pump station that will serve the stadium, the future East Bank development, and the surrounding area.

More work is ahead as Nashville prepares to welcome one of the biggest events in sports.

Our littlest pipe signing yet.

Garney recently sponsored the City of Apache Junction’s Community Construction Expo, giving kids and families a hands-on look at the people, equipment, and work behind community infrastructure.

Our team helped run the games and pass out popsicles, water, and freebies, but the highlight was watching kids sign one of our blue T-pipes.

Starting with dirt and seeing a project transform into infrastructure that serves communities for generations is Jeremy Fast’s favorite part of his job as a Garney Assistant Superintendent.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, transitioning into construction felt natural, with many of the same values carrying over into his work today.

When owners consider Construction Manager at-Risk (CMAR) delivery, one question often comes up: doesn’t CMAR cost more?

In the latest Water Collaborative Delivery Association article, Garney Regional Operations Manager Andy Hawthorne explains that when CMAR is done right, owners gain an early partner who helps improve constructability, manage risk, strengthen scheduling, and provide real-time cost feedback before key decisions are finalized.

Rehydrate 2026 was a celebration of another record-breaking year and the people who made it possible.

Being 100% employee-owned means every employee-owner has a stake in what we build together. Ownership is earned starting on day one, not bought, and that mindset continues to drive our culture, our work, and our commitment to excellence.
