SDL, a nonprofit research corporation owned by the Utah State University Research Foundation, has over five decades of experience in developing innovative solutions for complex science and military sensing needs. SDL’s expertise includes IR, visible, UV, and hyperspectral sensors, real-time data compression/visualization, cryogenic and thermal management systems, small satellite technologies, and sensor calibration/characterization.

NASA’s Atmospheric Waves Experiment (AWE) has completed the on-orbit data collection phase of its mission. ✅ The mission will continue with processing and analyzing images collected during AWE’s 30-month on-orbit phase.
