Dowling Designs, Ltd. We are a small, family-owned remodeling company based in Frederick, MD. Most of our work is in Montgomery and Frederick counties.

When Andrew and Robin Dowling started Dowling Designs, Ltd 20 years ago, our goal was to provide quality work at a fair price. Years later that is still our goal. We have branched out from painting and miscellaneous carpentry jobs to large scale, whole house projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, Master Suites and additions. As it was then and still is today, our priority is customer satisfaction.

Update to a traditional kitchen . . . Customer wanted an update without major changes to the layout. Cabinets were salvaged, but most everything else was replaced. Work included: new sink and fixtures, custom faux painted island, tile flooring and backsplash, upgraded appliances, ceiling overhaul, new counters, wainscotting, french doors installation, lighting upgrades, wallpaper removal and painting.
