Harney Rock & Paving Co. North Powder Division 541-898-2501 48874 HWY 30 North Powder OR, 97867 Harney Rock & Paving Co. was established in 1977 in Burns, Oregon. Our first project was crushing rock for U. S.

Forest Service projects. We operate the only asphalt paving plant in Harney County. Today, we supply crushed rock, ready mixed concrete and hot mixed asphalt to eastern Oregon region. In the early 1980’s we moved our rock crusher to Elko, Nevada to crush railroad ballast for Western Pacific Railroad and the “Life Saver” project. Now, 30 years later, we supply rock products and are Elko’s largest r

eady mixed concrete supplier, doing business as Silver State Rock Products. In 1990, we established the North Powder quarry in Baker County, Oregon. From this quarry we provide railroad ballast to Union Pacific Railroad for the Pacific Northwest and other rock products to the local community. Our projects range from driveways to 4 million dollar road building contracts. We currently operate four rock crushers, one asphalt plant, and two Portland cement concrete batch plants. is locally owned and operated providing quality products and service.
