ICC Commonwealth - Historic Preservation ICC Commonwealth is an established firm dating back to 1927 performing engineering, construction & maintenance of tall structures.

ICC Commonwealth was involved in the restoration of historic structures such as lighthouses, stone towers, water towers, steeples, monuments and other tall historic structures before the popularization of the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. We also are uniquely engaged in the service of bringing our Preservation experience to the Relocation of historic s

tructures. Over the past several decades, we have made a corporate commitment to be actively involved with the preservation of lighthouses located on the coastlines of the United States. In addition to our restoration work, we have relocated 5 lighthouses including the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. A sample of our previous award winning restoration & relocation projects include the Restoration of: Tybee Island Lighthouse, Ponce DeLeon Inlet Lighthouse the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Anclote Key Lighthouse, Cape May Lighthouse - NJ, GEM Theater - Detroit, Highland Lighthouse - Cape Cod, Shubert Theater - Minneapolis, Varsity Hall - UVA, Sankaty Head Light - Nantucket and many more.
