This integrated capability allows us to move rapidly from concept to field-ready hardware, even for the most demanding components.

Last week, Taylor Devices celebrated the official grand opening of the Alan Klembczyk Development Lab with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The lab is named in honor of Alan Klembczyk, the recently retired President of Taylor Devices, in recognition of his leadership and lasting contributions to the company.

Taylor Devices has received ICC-ES approval for the Taylor Damped Moment Frame™ (TDMF™), which allows structural engineers to easily incorporate fluid dampers into the design of new buildings in earthquake zones. ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) is the industry leader in performing technical evaluations of building products, materials, and systems for code compliance.

The procedure has been evaluated by ICC-ES through the rigorous AC494 procedure, including validation with over 100 archetype structures using the FEMA P-695 methodology.
