Job Description
Construction Laborers
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
General laborer
1. Perform a variety of task at all kinds of construction sites.
2. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
3. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
4. Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement
5. Set up or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
6. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, or rakes.
7. Locate existing pipes needing repair or replacement, using magnetic or radio indicators.
8. Install piping.

2. Keep traffic flowing through a construction zone, despite a shutdown of lanes
3. Must be able to work in teams, with each person controlling the flow of traffic in a certain direction.

5. Be physically fit and able to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Automotive Equipment Mechanics
Repair, trucks, vacuum units, trailers, compressors, and heavy equipment. Master mechanics repair virtually any part on the vehicle or specialize in the transmission system.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes.
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
• Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine cooling, and electrical systems.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.
• Tear down, repair, and rebuild faulty assemblies, such as power systems, steering systems, and linkages.
• Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience.
• Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings.
• Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
• Repair manual and automatic transmissions.
• Repair hydraulic systems
• Repair air break systems
• Repair trailers
• Repair excavators and compressors

Job Summary:
The Equipment Operator will operate machinery for construction or excavation projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators
• Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
• Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches
• Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.
• Inspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shift.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred.

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery.
• Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Banks Gas Services has an opening for a full-time position in our warehouse. This position performs a variety of tasks involving general warehouse work, some janitor and minor building maintenance, and delivery and pick up of parts and material as needed. Candidate will have a direct report, but must be self-motivated and able to work with a team or independently depending on daily work assignment. Position will require overtime and possible weekend work.
Position Details:
• Full Time
• Standard hours are 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday
• Stock material as needed
• Sweep, clean and organize work areas
• Deliver material and supplies to job sites
• General building maintenance and repair

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of warehousing, general maintenance & repair
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Familiar with pipeline industry related products a plus, but not required
Education & Experience:

• 1-3 years warehouse experience: Shipping, receiving, order pick/pack (preferred)
• Forklift
• Basic knowledge of gas or plumbing industry(preferred)
• General plumbing and building maintenance
