The distance from wood to grade on this job isn't ideal, but better future practice can still help prevent these things. ⚠️

Bugs love wet wood. 🐜

A Standard detail for us around all homes is to seal up that sheathing to foundation with Lexel and Zip tape to cover the exposed edge of wood, keep out bugs, and air seal for efficiency.

Small things add up to big improvements. 💯

Bring in the 🌞. If you've never done a big shower remodel, then you probably aren't aware of how long it takes to get glass from the time the tile is finished.

That's because you can't measure until the tile is complete.

In this case, 4-6 weeks. This is why it's not pictured here.

Would you even install glass on this? It will be black hardware.
