We are a small family-run construction company currently looking for employees seeking long-term employment with a full-time position (36-40 hours) or a part-time position (average of 25-30 hours per week), or even one day a week, to our team. Our work varies from week to week based on projects and tasks occurring. Over time hours are as needed; generally over time is not a regular expectation. Work site locations vary, and self-transportation to sites required. Position requires ability to do some heavy lifting. We have work sites throughout Leelanau Peninsula, but primarily in and around Northport and Lake Leelanau, reliable transportation to our various sites needed. Ability to self-manage and complete tasks independently a big plus.

This position requires you provide yourself with the following attire/safety gear:
MIOSHA approved hard hat
MIOSHA approved safety glasses
Steel-toed boots
Work Gloves

COVID safety precautions and policies supplied and enforced.

Eligible candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Compensation is based on experience and work ethics - with entry level pay starting with at $18/hour and more experienced candidates starting higher based on experience. After the introductory period of 90 days, a number of benefits are included (sick pay, holiday pay, and more).

The downside of a humidifier on the furnace in an old house. Barf. That’s inches of mold and mildew and white magical calcium and mold on the filter. If there’s ever a reminder to check and clean your furnace humidifier, this is it. Ugh.

The site downtown for the food truck is nearly there! Electricians finishing up the outside area, so it’ll be ready for outdoor dining and speakers in no time!
