LIVIC's GIS team had the pleasure of attending the 2026 Esri International User Conference in San Diego, Ca. The annual event is the largest gathering of GIS professionals in the world, drawing tens of thousands of attendees from across every industry and sector. Cat, Dan, and Kristin represented LIVIC across a full week of technical sessions, product demonstrations, and professional programming.

The team took full advantage of the opportunity to deepen existing relationships and forge new ones, meeting with Esri staff, technology partners, potential clients, and peer firms from across the country. Conversations spanned a wide range of topics including geospatial applications in civil engineering, conservation planning, data center development, indoor mapping, and the growing intersection of GIS and AI. The team also participated in several industry social events including the Young Professionals Network, further expanding LIVIC's presence in the broader geospatial community.

The week produced a wealth of ideas, connections, and technical insights that the team is already putting to work!

Meet our newest guide, Brandon Myers (last on the right). Brandon joins LIVIC as a Civil Engineering Designer. A recent graduate, Brandon is excited to jump into real projects, learn from the team, and continue building his skills in the field. He brings an eager, challenge-driven mindset and is ready to get his feet wet while contributing wherever he can.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys lifting weights, playing basketball, and tackling escape rooms with friends — because apparently solving problems during the workday just isn’t enough.

We’re hiring an Accounting Generalist to join the LIVIC Civil team!

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow within the AEC industry. The position will support day-to-day accounting tasks including invoicing, reconciliations, deposits, vendor follow-up, and coordination with internal and external teams.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, solution-focused mindset. QuickBooks, accounting software, or AEC experience is a plus.

Congratulations to Dylan Groshek on joining LIVIC Civil full-time!

Dylan first became part of the LIVIC team as an intern and has now officially onboarded as a full-time Guide following his graduation from Elizabethtown College. With a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Architectural Studies, Dylan brings both a strong technical foundation and a thoughtful design perspective to the work he does.

His background, curiosity, and attention to detail make him a great addition to our growing team, and we are excited to continue watching him develop in this next chapter of his career.

Outside of work, Dylan enjoys golfing, cheering on the Phillies, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Meet Katherine Benscoter, the newest Designer on LIVIC's Land Development Team.

A recent Iowa State University graduate, Katherine brings a unique blend of Agricultural Engineering expertise, specializing in Land & Water Resource Management, along with a minor in Agronomy. Her background provides a practical, boots-on-the-ground perspective that complements our multidisciplinary approach to project development.

Eager to continue growing her skills and industry experience, Katherine is excited to contribute to meaningful projects while learning from the talented professionals around her.

Outside the office, you'll likely find her enjoying the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, or competing in a trap shoot.

Ethan Carper is joining LIVIC as a Designer in our Land Development Department.

A recent graduate of Wilkes University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Ethan is eager to apply his education to real-world projects and continue developing his technical skills. He brings a strong work ethic, a practical mindset, and an enthusiasm for learning that will serve him well as he begins his professional career.

Outside of work, Ethan enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. We're excited to welcome Ethan to the LIVIC team and look forward to supporting his growth and success.

Robert Quirin joins LIVIC as a Senior Construction Manager, bringing 35+ years of senior project and construction management experience on large, complex projects across the U.S. His background spans across industrial and manufacturing environments, renewable energy, transportation, higher ed, mixed-use development, and aviation work. Robert is known for driving excellence in ex*****on with a “safety first” mindset, strong contractor/vendor leadership, and a focus on schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.

Outside of work, Robert is an avid antique collector and enjoys curating a large wall art collection, with pieces from artists like Andy Warhol, Miró, Dalí, and Picasso.
