Today would have been my father's 104th Birthday. Dr. Alfonso DiMino, a great inventor, scientist and especially father. In this photo he is standing next to a poster about one of his inventions. Pros-Aide - a medical adhesive he developed for facial prosthetics. It is water-based and safely bonds to skin. In addition to medical use it is widely used in special effects makeup. On the poster is the late Dick Smith, the master of special effects, applying Pros-Aide on F. Murray Abraham for "Amadeus". We continue to manufacture Pros-Aide Adhesive at ADM Tronics as we honor my father's legacy.

Aqua Based Technologies was asked to research and develop a food grade, chemically safe, water-based coating which can be used in food packaging which could replace harmful fluorocarbon coatings. We developed a coating formula in our in-house lab called Aqualene® 5050. Today it is in commercial use for various food packaging and paper products. It is also a safe alternative to fluorocarbon coatings used in microwave popcorn bags.
