They’re making great strides on the South Spruce Main Line Replacement, upgrading the city’s water system from the inside out with an unwavering focus on safety and teamwork.
Our crews are:
✅ Installing 1,310 feet of 6” ductile iron pipe
✅ Adding three new fire hydrants
✅ Completing 46 service connections
Every step of the way, they’re working hand in hand to deliver safer, more reliable water service for the residents of Montebello.

Our team came together for a wonderful dinner filled with great food, laughter, and meaningful reflections on an energized year. Our President, Phil Dennis, shared heartfelt words of gratitude for the dedication of our office and field teams. Our Safety Directors reinforced the importance of safety as a core value. We also celebrated service milestones and handed out exciting prizes to recognize outstanding contributions.

This holiday season, Doty Bros Construction proudly supported the McKinney-Vento Program Toy Giveaway, benefiting 200 families and over 500 students in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District. Now in its 17th year, the program gives parents the opportunity to shop for toys for their children, helping make the season brighter for those in need.

“Our belief is that we build more than infrastructure, we build community,” said Phil Dennis, President of Doty Bros Construction. “Donating bikes and toys is our way of spreading joy and creating lasting memories for local families. It’s an honor to give back right here in our own backyard.”

Through these efforts, Doty Bros Construction helped bring holiday cheer to some of the community’s most vulnerable families, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the job site.

We’re proud to share the success of this year’s drive: across the Meruelo Enterprises family of companies, over 1,000 toys were collected and given to the Los Angeles Police Department Mission Division for their Miracle in Mission event. These toys will bring joy and holiday magic to children in our communities.

Thanks to our amazing team members here in the office and in the field for contributing and special thanks to President Phil Dennis and HR Manager Jazmin Mayer for dropping off toys at the Annual Meruelo Cares Toy Drive!
