In our first year in business, we were a nominee for the Minnesota concrete council for the architectural concrete award in driveway design and received second place. We specialize in decorative concrete such as stamped and colored concrete, tear out and replacement of plain broom finish concrete and smooth finished concrete such as basements and garages. I strive my absolute hardest to make sure

customer satisfaction is at an all-time high on each and every project. Derek Jensen, the owner of Jensen Decorative Concrete started in the concrete industry in 2002 while in high school and doing poured concrete walls. I started doing concrete Flatwork in 2003 and I immediately knew I enjoyed the trade and started to develop a passion for the industry. I continued my employment with the same concrete company until August of 2014 when I then made the decision to branch off on my own and establish Jensen Decorative Concrete Inc. Since then I have spent much time traveling the United States to develop my skills even further and bring a whole new work ethic and moral to my own crew.

A beautiful new 30 yard broom finish driveway installed with colored concrete…. Hand tooled control joints with ribbons and borders and we even stained the sidewalk that we poured last year to blend everything in together… All sealed with two coats of high quality D-1 sealer from our friends at Deco-Crete Supply in Ohio! Look at that nice and beautiful sheen! Water repellent and protection at its it finest!
***One of the harder things to do in our industry is pour integrally colored concrete with 4 different ready mix trucks and have them turn out the same and we think we nailed it on this driveway! Any slight changes in installation generally will alter the finishes products, especially with color!
***As this project continues to cure out, you won’t even be able to tell that there was FOUR ready mix trucks here. Big shout out to our concrete supplier for nailing the batches down perfectly!

A BEAUTIFUL MIX! Front AND back yard patios installed using Arizona flagstone patterns mixed with Roman slate walnut colored borders and fire pit seating area with decorative rock face steps while using colored concrete with individually stained stones and walnut antiquing through the roman slate patterns… We installed this project in May of 2022 and it still looks just as beautiful as the day we completed. 👌🏻

This weeks curb appeal upgrade… traditional broom finish concrete with hand tooled control joints… New apron and two new sidewalks to spice up the front of this home.

Hot tub pad/patio extension to a decorative patio that we poured 6 years ago! Broom finish colored concrete with a stamped and colored border with decorative saw cuts to match and compliment the existing patio we previously did…
We media blasted all the existing sealer and color off the existing patio,
re-colored everything at the same time and then re applied to sealer to everything to blend it all together!
