Take a closer look at the details on this deck rebuild in Dover, NH.

Deckorators Summit decking in Boulder, black aluminum railings, and white PVC trim give this new deck, landing, and staircase a clean, finished look.

The care goes beyond the surface: nine new concrete footings, framing spaced 12 inches on center, and joist tape protecting the framing. When demolition revealed rot in the house wall, we completed the repairs before installing the new ledger.

The existing footings and porch ceiling remained in place.

Water sitting on your AZEK deck after rain? Here’s a simple care tip.

Some water may remain on the surface after rain or cleaning. AZEK decking is highly moisture-resistant, but clearing standing water helps reduce slippery spots, especially near doors, stairs, and walkways.

A rubber or plastic squeegee is an easy way to remove it. A mop or towel works for smaller areas, too.

If you notice persistent or unusually deep pooling, have your installer check it rather than assuming it’s normal.

A look at the progress on this 10′ × 27′ deck!

The pressure-treated framing is in place. Before the decking goes down, joist tape will be added to help protect the framing from moisture.

The deck will be finished with Deckorators Voyage decking and a matching drink rail in Sedona, black Key-Link railings with vertical cable infill, and RDI Boardwalk privacy panels. Matching panels beneath the deck and black PVC trim will bring the finished look together.

Our work is backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty. We’ll share more photos as the project moves along!
