Exciting news from Thompson Builders!

We're hard at work on the Yerba Buena Island Road Improvement Project, a $22.1M venture to enhance this historic area. We're currently removing lead-contaminated soil to start grading for the new soil nail wall. This isn't our first project here; we previously constructed a structural column for the iconic bridge.

We're making great progress on our CHP project!

Did you know this is one of our Design-Build projects? TBC has been taking on several Design-Build projects in recent years, and we’re excited to continue with new ones like this CHP project! Currently, we're working on a 140-foot Communications Tower, which is built in sections on the ground and then hoisted into position by a crane. The nearby Communications building is nearly complete and was painted last week. Meanwhile, we're roughing in MEPs on the main building, hanging and taping drywall, adding wall insulation, fireproofing, and installing door hardware.

We have an exciting update on our $34.4m Behavioral Health Services Center Parking Structure Project!

The elevator steel is in, and we're starting the glass storefront this week! Level 5 steel is complete (as of 5/30), and now we're waiting on some framing before the panel installation. Site work is also in full swing, and the second car entrance will be completed next week!

Our project is making tremendous progress. Check back for more updates soon!

Thompson Builders is celebrating 35 years of excellence in construction!

The growth of our company over the past 35 years has been incredible, and we are beyond honored to have built a legacy of innovation and quality. Our accomplishments range from incredible structural landmarks to community improvement projects, in-depth civil projects, and so much more.

We want to thank our incredible TBC team for their many years of dedication and hard work. Here's to many more years of building dreams and shaping communities together!

The final steps of our Building C at the Novato Gateway Complex are underway!

All of the electricity has been permanently added to the building in preparation for our new tenants, and now we’ve begun the landscaping process. Right now, our crew is working on a bio-retention area designed to collect, direct, and filter the rainwater, and soon after, the rest of the landscaping will take place.

The building is well on its way to completion! Great job, team!

We’ve started constructing the control building at our Coyote Creek job site!

This building will house the blowers for the rubber dam, allowing the controller to deflate and inflate the dam at high speeds during flooding season. Once the project's elements are complete, the Dam will help protect the water supply, groundwater basins, and wildlife!

We’re extremely excited to begin working on this final step of our project, and our team is doing a fantastic job!
