As one of the leading energy analysis firms in the country, EnergySoft has been providing consulting services and software to clients worldwide since 1983. We specialize in Building Energy Performance Modeling and have completed over 10,000 projects to date. EnergySoft is a Bay Area company founded in 1983 which has a local office in Novato, California. EnergySoft specializes in performance based building energy analysis, with an emphasis on green building design. EnergySoft also provides energy software development, including the popular EnergyPro software used extensively throughout the California for Title 24 compliance. In addition, EnergySoft has consulted to the California Energy Commission on past and present Standards development, and provided professional training on the Standards.
As an intern at EnergySoft we would be seeking someone who would be assisting with residential and non-residential projects. You will be expected to utilize the EnergyPro software; prior experience with the software would be helpful but is not required for applicants.
Job Responsibilities

¨ Knowledge of California Title-24 Standards Part 6 energy code

¨ Computer skills using PC: proficiency in Microsoft excel & Outlook

¨ Documenting data and results

¨ Build and maintain relationships with architects, developers, and owners

¨ Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years of related experience

¨ Knowledgeable about building science & energy efficiency

¨ Understanding in residential design and construction; single- or multifamily experience ideal

¨ Ability to multi-task and demonstrate attention to detail

¨ Strong time management. communication, and organizational skills

¨ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

What you can expect:
¨ Creating models to analyze energy use in buildings in compliance with Title-24
