Interested in becoming an ag pilot? Apply for the 2026 NAAA “Ag Wings of Tomorrow” Scholarship Program by Sept. 8 at www.agaviation.org. Thanks to the generous support of BASF, Thrush Aircraft, and Turbine Conversions, Inc., five aspiring ag pilots will receive funding for training. Scholarship recipients may use the proceeds for flight training or aviation or ag-related coursework at a university, college, community college, or other institution of higher learning.

Turbine Conversions Ltd has received Transport Canada approval for its Thrush wing leading‑edge reinforcement STC (SA03518AT), expanding availability of the bonded internal doubler to Canadian operators.

The modification strengthens a high‑exposure area without altering external aerodynamics, improving durability and protection against bird strikes and debris while fitting into routine maintenance cycles.
