Inspire Nyack: The Foundation To Inspire Excellence In Nyack Schools Inspire Nyack is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help fund innovative STEM education in the Nyack Public School System for students K-12.

Inspire Nyack is a community-based, non-profit organization whose goal is to help develop, implement and maintain educational excellence in the Nyack Public School system. Inspire Nyack strives to support creative learning opportunities for all the students and faculty in the Nyack schools through innovative educational programs. The foundation's contributions have been targeted towards science, t

echnology and math programs including the successful pre-engineering and robotics curriculum. Why Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM)?

1: According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 15 of the 20 fastest growing occupations will require significant training in math and/or science by 2014.
2: Professional information technology (IT) jobs will increase 24% by 2016.
3: U.S. ranks 20th internationally based on our share of graduate degrees in engineering, computer science, and mathematics. Inspire Nyack Foundation Contributed Over $200,000 to Fund:
- Purchase of Computers & Materials for Robotics in the Elementary and Middle Schools
- Consultant for Professional Development
- Expansion of the Authentic Science Research Program at the High School
- 22 High School students to attend the Science Inventions and Technology Competition
- Inspire Nyack Day -- In honor of Thomas Edison’s birthday, schools present assemblies in celebration of inventions and inventors.

Dear Friends of Inspire Nyack,

It is hard to believe that just over one year ago, we celebrated together during our first Carnivale event, raising over $10,000 dollars towards our next donation to Nyack Public Schools!

This year, our Project in Focus is: Completing the NEW Mobile Makerspace learning areas in each of the three elementary school’s newly renovated Global Learning Commons.

So much has changed in a year, and while our organization's hiatus was long, our resolve remains strong - Nyack Strong!
