CenterPoint sponsored and sent a contingent of volunteers to the Giant Steps Annual Golf Outing at Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville, IL, this week. The nonprofit organization offers educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs to individuals with autism.

Team CenterPoint facilitated on-course games for the 144 golfers who hit the links on a pitch-perfect day in Chicago’s western suburbs. Thanks to Flutra Arifi, Michael Coy, Sue Drury, Gracie Favuzzi, Kevin German, Dan Grisco, Taylor Lehr, Kristin Newquist, Rick Okrasinski, Sharon Purcell, Brian Sheehan, Val Size, and Gena Wilczak for dedicating your day to supporting Giant Steps and helping make the event a fun and impactful success.

Kudos to our West Region Property Manager, Tom Clarke, and West Region Asset Management Coordinator, Trinette Cooper, on recently partnering with one of CenterPoint’s Cornerstone Customers, Ta Chen International, to host an employee appreciation event at TCI’s North American HQ, which our West Region Team redeveloped for them in 2024 in Long Beach, CA.

The event included a scavenger hunt, a spread provided by a food truck from the world-famous In-N-Out Burger, and a raffle with Apple and Beats by Dre prizes. Thanks to our friends at TCI for your partnership on this event and long-time relationship with CenterPoint!

Trinette and Tom have teamed up to organize tenant appreciation events for over four years, and they do a wonderful job of making our customers understand they are at the center of everything we do!

CenterPoint’s 2026 Summer Intern Class has wrapped up an eventful and fruitful eight-week journey with us.

Corporate Operations Intern Kyle Bielawski, Strategic Projects & Planning Intern Nathan Dsouza, Corporate Operations Intern Jack Miller, West Region Intern Matthew Rudnicki, and East Region Intern Dylan Shah, and Finance & Valuation Intern Ian Teh, made meaningful contributions to our teams across the country, gained valuable knowledge about our operations and industry, toured customer facilities and attended a broker event, and had some fun along the way at excursions to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs trounce the Padres 23-3 and Topgolf to hit long balls of their own.

Thanks to our esteemed faculty and internship committee, PJ Charlton, Rebecca DePorter, Billy Hanson, Alan Bouchier-Hayes, Mason Klonoski, Tyler Konkal, Dominik Koziol, Tim Lippert, and Martin O'Hara, for your efforts in making this a mutually impactful summer!

CenterPoint property managers gathered recently at the Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook for a workshop focused on better understanding our customers’ priorities and challenges, and how to help them unlock opportunities in our markets nationwide.

Afterward, the Weber Grill Restaurant in Lombard was the scene of an epic food fight for the ages: the first-ever CenterPoint Best Burger Battle Royale! Congratulations to Property Managers Tom Clarke, Andrea Hacker, Grace Pappachen, and VP of Customer Solutions, Jim Shields, for concocting a mouthwatering, cheese-slathered masterpiece that earned the approval of the rigorous Weber Grill’s head chef and took home the coveted title!
