Happy New Year and welcome WINTER! With the COLD weather here just a few reminders for your heating system. If you have a heat pump and it doesn't switch over automatically switch it NOW! On your thermostat it will say either ER or AUX. It is too cold to run your heat pump and it could do damage to it. When our temperatures go above 25 degrees you can switch back to heat pump mode. Change your filter as well. Stay warm and stay safe!

Staying warm is hard when it's this cold and your furnace will run in overtime! Remember to check your filter to make sure it's clean. Also if you have a heat pump be sure to switch over to emergency heat. Some will do it automatically but be sure to check yours. On a happy note after today we start gaining daylight instead of losing.

Hey Evergy customers.....in case you didn't receive your notification. This week for business customers from 2-6 pm and residential customers from 4-6 your thermostat will be adjusted during these peak times. Any customer in this program can adjust their thermostat back to their preferred Temps but you may not even notice. Stay cool in this heat wave!
