Note that R22 Freon equipment is no longer in production, and R410a Puron production will end this month. Beginning January 1, 2025, R32 will become the standard refrigerant. We are currently informing customers about the advantages and disadvantages of new units and the upcoming price surges. Heat has dulled for time being and we are still out helping as many as we can!!! With the new refrigerant looming and costs of new systems going to take a jump in price come Jan 1, we are fixing and giving our best prices before we can’t pass on any savings. Ok three for three. Kd and sons to the rescue putting in the long hours to make sure our customers can sleep at night. KD and Sons HVAC Services is also educating its customers about the r410a refrigerant banning coming up. As of Jan 1 you will no longer be able to by a 410a system. New phase of efficiency for furnace and a/c will be coming in Jan. Let me know if you want info, pricing, or just want to vent that they are changing out the refrigerant again. With back to school and college kids needing cars I have a car needs a little bit of work but runs and drives well. Son put some money in it and just doesn’t want to put anymore in.
