This month Oakland is buzzing with creativity, culture, and nonstop community energy and ArtHaus not only has your go-to agenda for soaking it all in, but we’re celebrating it all at ArtHaus.Works on June 11.

Kick things off June 5 at Oakland First Fridays, where this month’s “Black in Oakland” theme celebrates heritage, artistry, and resilience through music, dance, food, and powerful community voices in honor of Juneteenth. That same day, Jack London Square launches its Summer Music Series running June 5–26 with free weekly outdoor concerts along the waterfront featuring everything from jazz and blues to pop favorites.

On June 6, head to First Saturdays in Jack London for live music, local makers, family-friendly activities, neighborhood specials, and independent markets all within walking distance of the waterfront. Sports fans can join at Raimondi Park on June 12 as Oakland comes together to cheer on Team USA in a massive community watch party or can catch the Hella Juneteenth Match on June 13 and experience the electric energy of Oakland Roots SC.

Juneteenth celebrations continue June 19 at the Hella Juneteenth Festival, an annual Oakland tradition centering Black culture through curated music, food, art, and community programming leading up to the festival at Cloud Park.
