Last weekend, the BBI team proudly participated in the Annual @ Center for Early Intervention on Deafness (CEID) Walk-A-Thon around Lake Merritt to promote early education, family engagement, and community awareness about their audiology services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and adults. We came together to walk alongside community members, families, and local partners in a positive and energetic environment. The event provided an opportunity for the BBI team to support meaningful local initiatives. Congratulations to CEID on a very successful event!

Our team recently joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Arnold's Place Medical Respite Center, formerly the Alameda Respite and Wellness Center.

It has been an honor to work on such an important project. Developed in partnership with Alameda Point Collaborative, designed by Ankrom Moisan, and operated by Life Long Medical Care, this milestone marks the completion of a ground-up facility dedicated to providing compassionate, integrated care. The center brings together medical respite, primary care, and supportive services under one roof to promote healing, dignity, and stability.

The building features a primary care clinic, resource center, and a commercial kitchen that serves both the medical respite patients and residents of the neighboring senior convalescent community. It also includes 50 medical respite beds with a mix of single, double, and quad sleeping rooms, creating a supportive environment for recovery.

We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to the subcontractors, tradespeople, and partners whose expertise and dedication made this state-of-the-art facility a reality. Your work has created a space that will serve and support the community for years to come.
