Another GM truck with only 100 k miles and the frame wouldn't pass inspection. After cutting out the rusted section the inside of the frame rail was cleaned before welding in new steel and then coated in Woolwax.

We had another Hammond truck in the shop this week with more ratchet strap rail repair's needed. Someone had attempted repairing the aluminum with steel wire so once that was cleaned up we replaced the bad section with new and welded it in with aluminum wire.

This trailer came in with what was described as a crack needing welding and once we got eyes on it we realized the crack matched on all 4 axle mounts and needed more than just a weld. The frame was reinforced and new mounts built.

Another week of repairs and frame cleaning. This delivery truck tie down track had broken free and someone had welded it without straightening and it broke free again. After grinding out their welds it was straightened and re welded.

Unfortunately we see it too often, this customer just traveled to mass to purchase this truck and while going on the lift for a Maine state inspection the frame crumbles. After opening the frame rails and cleaning out the inside everything was patched and coated with Woolwax.
