Today, Amber and George received the keys to their brand-new Secure Built home, a truly one-of-a-kind custom contemporary ranch with modern minimalist influences.

Nestled on 10 beautiful acres in Marion County, the home is approached by a long, tree-canopied driveway that creates an unforgettable first impression. 🌳

For this project, we stepped away from our more traditional farmhouse and Craftsman styles to create something refreshingly different. The dramatic rooflines, bold black-and-white exterior, oversized windows, modern finishes, and creative landscaping give this home a distinctive character that fits beautifully within its peaceful wooded setting.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bath residence features 1,896 square feet of living space and 2,537 square feet total. Every detail was thoughtfully developed through close collaboration with Amber and George, combining their creativity and vision with the experience of the Secure Built team.

We are incredibly proud of how this unique home came together and grateful that Amber and George trusted us to bring their ideas to life.

A lot of people probably don’t realize that their favorite home builder has a long history in IT and still has a passion for software and technology.

Recently, a friend and I decided to dabble in OpenAI, Codex, and a little “vibe coding” to solve a problem almost all of us have: years, sometimes decades, of old contacts cluttering up our iPhones.

The result is Cinder. 🔥

Cinder makes cleaning up your contacts ridiculously simple. Just swipe to keep, delete, or update each contact card. I personally removed more than 80 old and forgotten contacts in just a few minutes.
