In Florida, speed limit signs feel less like laws and more like… loose guidelines. Especially on I-4. 😅
That “60 mph” sign? It really means:
Right lane in the low 70s, middle lane pushing 80, and the left lane… completely up to whoever’s feeling bold that day.
You could be cruising at 65, thinking you’re doing just fine, when out of nowhere a truck flies past you like it’s late for something important—probably a short Publix line.
Around here, 10 over is just keeping up.
15 over? Now you’re part of traffic.
Anything more… well, that’s a personal decision.
Visitors are usually gripping the wheel wondering what’s going on, while locals barely notice.
And somehow, in all that speed, there’s always that one car in the left lane going 58… completely unbothered, holding up everyone like it’s their job.
