Well, here it is , October and you might be thinking about getting ready for our upcoming winter season. This year it is extremely important to get your furnace cleaned and maintained! The price of natural gas has doubled, yes 100%, since last winter! I won’t talk politics , but…. If your furnace is 15 years old or more you will probably be money ahead by updating your system ,before costly repairs start! Happy spring everyone! This year we are trying to reach out to new customers by adding a strato-lift , man lift. This will allow us to install and maintain light commercial and of coarse ,MAN CAVE, systems with ease ! As usual this time of year, I’m going to warn against the “ sale” scams we all see on TV! One price can not cover all job site situations! My customers have been kind enough to share some of these bids and they are always hundreds to thousands more than their comedy skits they call commercials ! My advice as an honest contractor is to get 3 or more estimates then research their product. Make sure the equipment is comparable, each brand has models from low cost/ performance to 96 and higher efficiency ratings.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It’s been a tough year on us all with Covid 19 , the resulting equipment supply shortages ,home schooling and working from home, not to mention the political “sh*t show”the media brings us each day! At 4th Generation HVAC we are thankful for good health and the many customers who have become good friends. Unlike the larger HVAC companies, you are a person not a number,and soon a friend! We settle for NO LESS than 100% satisfaction as we rely on referrals for most of our work. This year we added our portable shop with metal forming and pipe threading capabilities,along with many specialized tools and equipment. Unfortunately it looks like we will be spending more home time as this year wraps up and well into the new year. Now is a good time to upgrade your heating and cooling system! Happy holidays! Winter has finally come to town! Aside from some early snowfall , we have really been very fortunate with mild temperatures this fall. With the colder temps here things like your vehicle, your furnace and you have to work a lot harder! On the subject of heating equipment, it can cycle many more times per hour when temps fall below freezing and if your system is outdated or simply not properly maintained, each heating cycle could be it’s final before a breakdown occurs! Well now summer is really here! 92 degrees today and many more hot days ahead! Don’t fool yourself, it’s here! Now the next question , will your old or unserviced central air system survive and at what cost on the utility bill? A properly cleaned and serviced system can operate much more efficiently. Keep in mind as of January 1 st 2020 it will be against federal law to install or recharge, R22 systems. This is likely to cause a jump in prices due to supply and demand !
