HDI Railing Systems, founded in early 2002, is a leading provider of pre-engineered modular and ornamental railing systems used in commercial and residential applications, frequently specified for hospitals, airports, corporate offices, hotels, universities, libraries and museums. We provide a full range of architectural and contractor services including regional sales representatives to guide and

assist customers with various systems and engineering solutions. Services also include presentations providing AIA continuing education unit credits (CEU) along with specific product information that enables architects and contractors to receive LEED credit on projects. Project managers oversee every project from detailing to manufacture through to installation if required, ensuring the project timelines and contract requirements
are met.

Defined by geometry.

At Shoreline Community College’s STEAM Building, HDI’s Optik™ Boss glass railing system protects a monumental concrete stair and mezzanine edges while preserving the clean geometry of the space.

With 9/16″ SGP-laminated tempered glass, stainless boss fittings, and a separate brushed stainless handrail, the system maintains open sightlines while complementing the architecture.

Designed for connection.

At 333 Market Street, HDI’s Circum™ Round railing system combines stainless steel, laminated glass, and integrated LED lighting to create a clear, inviting path between levels. Open sightlines preserve the architecture, while the illuminated handrail enhances visibility and safety throughout the concourse.

Engineered to withstand constant public use, the system balances durability, function, and clean design in one of downtown Harrisburg’s busiest buildings.

A Civic Stair, Framed in Structure.

At Public School 469X, HDI developed a customized Kubit™ railing system to support the architect’s intent for full-height framing and continuous visual rhythm along a central stair that anchors the school’s interior.

Extended stainless steel posts define each glass panel as a framed element, reinforcing cadence across the elevation.

9/16” low-iron laminated glass integrates a continuous Grand Concourse graphic, embedding local context into the architecture.

Engineered to IBC 2015 standards with full PE-stamped calculations, approval drawings, and coordinated fabrication.

Designed for clarity, durability, and accessibility within a K–12 environment.

Monumental form. Material precision. Unified architectural language.

At Round Rock ISD’s Early College High School expansion, HDI delivered two coordinated railing systems designed to meet distinct environmental demands while maintaining a cohesive architectural experience across the campus.

The interior stair features Circum™ Round in 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish and laminated glass infill, preserving openness within the central commons.

The exterior system uses KOTO™ Flat in 316 stainless steel with cable infill, engineered for durability in Central Texas conditions while maintaining visual transparency.

In collaboration with Bartlett Cocke General Contractors, the result is a campus defined by clarity, performance, and architectural continuity.

Learning spaces, elevated.

HDI’s Versa™ Square railing system at AISD Linder Elementary School in Austin, TX combines powder-coated posts, 304 stainless square perforated infill, and a segmented top rail that follows the curved second-floor balcony overlooking the library commons.

Single-bend posts allow straight runs to transition smoothly into radius conditions while maintaining clean sightlines and fabrication precision.

Proud to partner with Bartlett Cocke General Contractors on this Austin ISD project, with architecture by O’Connell Robertson.

Engineered and built in Pennsylvania. Installed in Texas.
