Last Summer a Monument was built for Yorestone Founder Ben Geiger to honor him and also his love of backcountry skiing.
The monument, built from Yorestone, and by Geiger and Wood Stone Masonry and his family spent the last year overlooking Snowbasin Ski Resort but yesterday was moved to James Peak on Powder Mountain.
Thank you to all who came out yesterday, it meant so much to us to have the support of family and friends.
Also, thank you to Diamond Peaks Heli-Ski Adventures for getting Brad and the monument safely on and off the Mtn. Thank you Brad Geiger and Geiger and Wood Stone Masonry for making sure the statue is safely in place and beautiful. And also thank you to Hailey Hendricks from ABC4 News for coming out and doing a story on our favorites guy and the legacy he left behind.
Bens love, passion and energy lives on. Although he’s gone he will never be forgotten! We all love and miss you, Ben. 💙❄️
