Congratulations to Kent Rich, the “R” in ARW! Last night at the Structural Engineers Association of Utah [SEAU] opening social, Kent received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kent was instrumental in founding SEAU in 1980 and went on to serve as President of both SEAU and ARW. He belongs to a remarkable generation of engineers who bridged the slide rule and scientific calculator eras.

Kent’s blend of wisdom, confidence, and humility shaped the guiding principles we still follow at ARW today. Congratulations, Kent. This honor is well deserved!

We are thrilled to share that construction is officially underway on the addition to our Ogden, Utah office!

This growth is thanks to our clients, who have trusted us every step of the way, and our employees, who have poured their talent and dedication into earning that trust. This expansion is a reflection of both partnerships coming together and has been the driving force behind our success.

A big shoutout to Specialized Construction LLC for making it happen. We appreciate the hard work already underway. Stay tuned as we grow!

After more than six years of construction and decades of planning, the Salt Lake Temple renovation has hit a major structural milestone: the historic building now rests fully on its new base isolation system. It's a significant achievement in what stands as one of the most ambitious seismic retrofits ever performed on a historic structure. With this phase complete, the temple is now equipped to withstand future earthquakes while retaining the historic character that has defined it for generations.

We're honored to have been a part of the amazing team who helped preserve this historic structure for generations to come.

On this Fourth of July, we pause to reflect on the values that continue to shape our nation: freedom, resilience, and the pursuit of opportunity for all.

We're grateful for the communities we serve, the colleagues who make our work meaningful, and the country that allows us to pursue our shared goals. Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and reflective Independence Day.

From all of us at ARW Engineers, happy 4th of July.

What a blast supporting the West Field High School Cheer Team fundraiser! Adam Naser and Logan Ward represented our team well, taking home the win at the pickleball tournament.

It was a great event for a great cause. So proud to cheer on these student athletes and give back to the community that supports us.
Here's to the cheer team and an amazing season ahead!

Big things are happening in Herriman, Utah, and we've got the dirt on our boots to prove it!

Yesterday, we were thrilled to join VCBO Architecture, Life Time Inc., the City of Herriman, and Jacobsen Construction to officially break ground on Life Time Herriman, the brand's much-anticipated second location in Utah.

With more than 100,000 square feet of space, Life Time Herriman will deliver a premier athletic country club experience featuring resort-style pools, pickleball courts, expansive fitness spaces, dynamic studios, and rejuvenating spa and wellness amenities, created for the way people live, move, and unwind.

Every day, our drafting team is knee-deep in the details of designing incredible projects. One of those awesome project is the Trails East residential community located in St. George, Utah. Our newest drafter, Jackson Powell puts it best: "There's something special about watching a project come to life from the drawing board to the actual skyline. We've tackled some tough technical hurdles along the way, but the energy and creativity our team brings to the table has made it a ton of fun."

We can’t wait to see the Trails East residential community fully built and adding beautiful new housing to the community!
