For a lot of Idahoans, that's more than a football field. It's game days, time with family and friends, and traditions passed down across generations.
It raises a good question: why do certain places become part of a community's identity?
As engineers, we spend a lot of time thinking about how places serve people over time. The ones that stick with us aren't defined by the structure alone. They're shaped by what happens there.
Albertsons Stadium is one of those places. Every fall, students return to campus, alumni reconnect with old memories, and thousands gather around a tradition that's become uniquely Idaho.
Reaveley had the chance to contribute to the stadium's expansion. Looking back, what stands out isn't the project itself. It's the role the stadium still plays as a place where people come together.
