During the summer, a traditional attic can easily reach temperatures of 130°F to 150°F or more. All of that heat sits directly above your living space, constantly working its way into the rooms below and forcing your HVAC system to work harder.

One of the best upgrades you can make is spray foam insulation at the roof deck. Think about a thermos… It doesn't create hot coffee or cold water. It simply helps maintain the temperature that's already there.
